In college, Rich won the Denis Johnston Playwriting Prize, awarded by the Smith CollegeDepartment of Theatre, for the best play written by an under- graduate of any of the Five Colleges: Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, Smithand UMass. He has had productions of his plays at the American Theatre of Actors and Theatre Studio, Inc. in New York. For four consecutive years, a play of his was selected for Short & Neat, a one-act festival of works by New England playwrights, presented by the New England Academy of Theatre. He is a longtime columnist in Western Massachusetts newspapers

Danielle Bryant Cinematographer
Is a Canadian- American Cinematographer and Photographer based in New England. Her filmography spans documentary, commercial, and narrative work to explore themes of identity, culture, and shared experiences. She has operated camera for various PBS series including Finding Your Roots and Making Black America and has contributed cinematography to multiple museums including the Cape Cod National Seashore and the Museum of Mississippi History. Danielle has also assisted on feature films including Cowboys, Zora Neale Hurston: Claiming a Space and Onyx the Fortuitous, which premiered at Sundance. She was named a 2023 Documentary Fellow for the Newport Film Cinematography Lab. Danielle has sought impact-driven opportunities across the world – from tomato fields in Alabama, the beaches of Normandy, France to the shores of Brazil’s Rio Negro and beyond.

Carl Sprague Production Designer
Is a designer working in film and theatre, as well as special, site- specific projects. He brings more than twenty years of experience as a Production Designer, Art Director and Illustrator to his work. He has worked in the art department of more than 30 films, which between them have a combined total of 29 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture- winner 12 Years a Slave. Carl has worked with Martin Scorsese (The Age of Innocence), Steven Spielberg (Amistad) and David Fincher (The Social Network). But the most enduring collaboration has been with Wes Anderson. Carlhas been in the art department of three of Anderson’s best-reviewed films: The Grand Budapest Hotel (Concept Illustrator), Moonrise Kingdom (Assistant Art Director) and the cult classic The Royal Tenenbaums.

Alenka Pavlin Production Sound
Was born in Slovenia, formerly Yugoslavia. Passionate about film from an early age, she majored in foreign trade at the University of Economics. It was a brief change of course, as she immediately came back to film and sound. In 1984 she relocated to West Berlin, combining her two interests, that of sound and film, in what soon became her primary career strand of production sound. She moved to the US joining filmmaker Jon Jost for two years of filming across the US for UK’s Channel 4, and soon working on other independent films. Most recently she recorded sound for Emmanuelle Nobécourt’s Dr. Jack and Mr. Nicholson, Errol Morris’ Global Meltdown, Tracy Droz Tragos’ HBO’s Abortion: Stories Women Tell, Netflix’s documentary Lorena, Sophie Sartain & Roberta Grossman’s Seeing Allred and Sophie Sartain’s Birddog Nation.


Sarah Gothe-Jones Costume Designer
Is a Costume Designer and Costumer from New York. She worked as Set Costumer on Hallmark’s Sisterhood, Inc. and Costume Assistant on HBO’s And Just Like That. She was the Costumer Designer for the short film A Moment in Time. Her sewing skills were recently seen on stage at Union College’s Dance and Theatre Department’s productions, as well as at The Mac-Hadyn Theatre this past summer.Sarah recently was a Dresser at Proctor’s Theatre for the touring productions of MJ The Musical, Parade and The Cher Show. She is a member of Local 764 and holds a degree from Parsons New School of Design.
